As far as their warranty they said they would repair them until Parts ran out.I would think that would take many years.
My only issue with the Nikon scopes I almost bought (FX1000 stuff) was the eye box sucked really bad when zoomed in. It just wasnt right.
I got behind a buddies NF NX8 2.5-20 with Tremor reticle for a few range trips and was extremely disappointed. Not anywhere near as clear as I had imagined. I also hated the reticle. Call me crazy but I dont get it. Other NF scopes did not leave me with that impression.
I also do not call myself a Vortex fan, for the most part. I have a range finder (Razor 4000- It freaking rocks) and a pair of Diamondback binos that I love. I have not found myself loving many of their scopes. While some have stories of having to send them back for repair, at least you can. Run over it with a truck...covered. Not so with 99% of the companies out there. I needed that level of pretection with my RF and binos. I have looked through the Strike Eagle and I like it, but maybe I was saved when they were out of stock when I went to order.
Moving forwards I may be trying an Athlon. Who knows.
