Did Mark ever forecast $65? Les Baer is and has been $85. Tactical Ammunition is $65. I think the $65 was just a number someone put out there.
Since this began Mark didn't post his price till post #230. He listed what he thinks the ball park will be. He is pretty straight forward that the exact cost isn't known yet. Read post #230.

I think the $65 was a guess from Maxim when Frank was asked very early on if this was even possible. Then there were issues of the extractor which Maxim didn't make, but I think Mark does. It is on par with AA and Les Baer, where AA has availability issues and Les Baer is Les Baer, The Forum will get a discount code which should help us. It will be what it will be. It will be nice to have another supplier for many people. It seems that Maxim and PF will make this venture a "partnership", which will help them too.

I talked to Frank and Precision made some recommendations for some slight changes and Frank sent them the new bolts with changes made for more testing. Frank and Precision Firearms of course what to get these bolts right the first time. Maybe Precision Firearms could add more detail?

Working on some changes and Frank just sent me another Partial Completed bolt to verify Dimensions.
We are also finalizing the Extractor drawings and sending them over to Frank to machine them. Our CNC's are all tied up at the moment. This will not hold up the project as we already have 100 here with 200 more in various stages of progress.

GOT UPPER??? Well start looking..I see quite a few nice ones these days. What lower do you have? What color, black??? Rainer has CMT, 3 kinds of Seekins and there house brand in Billet. A few Forged but I like Billet for the extra bucks and thickness, there just stronger. Midway has Billet Vltor with brass deflector but I just don't understand them. It looks like the brass deflector is screwed on with a piece of sheet metal to fill a hole. Can't tell, not to clear.
I've been checking out quite a few new things and have the MEGA ARMs SBU Upper for my Lilja. Extra Thick Rigid Upper. Suppose to limit harmonics but not sure if it will but still looks great.

No upper yet, was waiting to see if Precision was going to offer a package as mentioned earlier. I would like Billet for sure, I appreciate any and all input this is my first actual AR build, last time around I purchased a complete upper.

Update from Friday but late on my post.
I spoke to Maxim and he is running the bolts. They have tested the previous batch and are moving forward. This process will go faster and all manufacturing steps are moving forward.
so, good news. "Got Bolts?" will soon be "Got Bolts!"

Not for the first lot of bolts, but maybe 2 month or so later as we ramp up extractor machining.
