I stayed at my son's house one more day and we went out this morning... We weren't even there 30 minutes and I got a hog...
It was 80 yards staring right at me...
I fired and hit him right between the eyes...
I laying prone on the bipod...
Sorry about the crappie pictures the lighting wasn't great...

Way to go. Nice shot even at that range. Between the eyes is hard to do, at least for me. Seems like I drift right or left. I bet it pleased your Son to take Mom hunting!

Thank you...All that loading and range time helped a lot...
The load I used was the 120 Barnes TTSX with 26.5 grains of Benchmark...

Thank you...We gutted it and skinned it then dropped off at the butcher... He's going to smoke it, make sausage and bacon...

were you able to do any Necropsy to see what the 120gr. TTSX did internally? were you able to recover the TTSX?

No the bullet exited right behind the right ear and the hole was small...I really don't think it expanded...

I would say either did not expand or could have expanded fully, shed petals inside the head and just that shank of the bullet exited. Hard to know without either checking with metal detector, or dissecting the head with out the bullet to look at
