Boys am I psyched up!
Flying in Sept. 13,14 &15 to shoot every pig in Woodson, Texas.
I have only had my Grendel two months and this will be my first time hunting with it.
Shooting 123SST?s over AR-Comp.
This will be my third hunt in Texas this year, you guys that live in Texas are so lucky.
It is very, very expensive to shoot pigs in Georgia.
I am very thankful for 6.5 Grendel.com, the information available here is outstanding!
Please do not worry about your property values dropping because people from Georgia are in you area.
The drop is usually only temporary.

It's hard to hunt Texas without paying big bucks to a commercial ranch.
It'd be great to make some contacts where I/we could hunt without so much expense.
Edit: I've checked into hunting public lands but it's tough for me as I don't own a 4x4.

These are some of the prices to hunt in Georgia. The majority of our pigs are in the bottom half of the state and shot over peanuts.
Jager Pro. Thermal. $600 per night,no meals or lodging
Hog Swat Thermal. $500 per night, no meals or lodging
Hog Assault Thermal. $500 per night, no meals or lodging.
Woods & Water $700.00 for 2 days, stand hunting. Board but no meals
Gum Log. $450.00 per day, stand hunting. No room or board.
I?ve been coming to Texas to hunt and fish for many, many years.
I wouldn?t walk across the street to kill a BC deer, but I do love shooting coyotes, ringtails and pigs.
Every time I have been to Texas, the hunt has been cheap, plenty of pigs and most of all the host have been very professional.
This hunt in Texas in mid September, I?m hunting Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday morning $175/bucks.
A couple of months ago I hunted at Hunters Creek Ranch and we knocked them out. It was a little more expensive but included room and board. We have already booked a hunt for 2020 with them.
Texas has great cheap day leases.
I would go on a 6.5 Grendel hunt. Count me in, Texas is only 2.5 hours from Atlanta

Depending how far I may meet for a night hunt Hunters Creek is about an 1 1/2 from me. Where you are going is about 2hrs which is doable

It takes me 2.5 hours to fly from Atlanta to Dallas.
Hunters Creek Ranch is 100 miles from Love Field.
I hunting in Woodson in September. This will be my first hunt with the rancher in Woodson.
The people at Hunters Creek are just the best.
I go anywhere for a chance to kill varmints.

We have to get GreyFox and DNS to come. Most of these places can accommodate 6 or 8 shooters.
Hunters Creek Ranch stays booked up, great blinds and plenty of pigs. Food is out of this world.
Sleeping accommodations I would rate a a C, but still ok.

Either one but I still can't believe I'm about to pay for huntin a hog....
Got some on our place (family cabin) but it's not large enough for a group hunt. Woodson is 4 hours away that's a little far. Wife has Parkinsons I can go for a night but a bit too much of a drive back and forth.

NO, It's 80mi. north of me not far at all. I was googling some places within reasonable distances from Dallas (fly ins). There's a few guys on here that might have some connections just have to see how many are interested.

By the way you don't need a hunting license for hogs in Texas. They just passed it not long ago.

A year or so ago you had to get a non-game permit right? About $40 at malwart?

My out of state license two months ago was $48 for five days. Now as Popeye said, you don’t need one for hogs.
I’m probably still going to buy a 5 day out of state for this trip.
