welcome jmcpup. Many years ago I spent a lot of time in Elk Park up by Beech Mountain. As beautiful country as anyone could ask for.

What range(s) do you shoot at? Or are you lucky enough to have access to private land with long distance shooting lanes?

I shoot on the farm I hunt around home. When the crops are out of the fields or depending how tall they are I can shoot out to around 500. Wish I had somewhere longer and not seasonal lol. Most all the ranges around here are pistol or short rifle...

I am supremely jealous - living in a big city, I could only dream of the opportunity to "shoot from my front porch". Although my local 300 yard range is only 13 minutes drive away, being able to load, test shoot, load, and repeat in my backyard would be a dream.

Is Surf City Arms that place on Topsail before you get to the bridge? I was in there about 5 years ago and I guess I need to stop by again!
