Figured I would say HI before I started a thread for my first AR. I have not known about the Grendel for very long, but have chosen it as my caliber of choice. All credit goes to menensdad, who I see has come back to play some more.

Oh sure, blame me. Do you know my wife? She blames me for everything too!

        OK, I see the difference.

My wife says all men are idiots. She also gives me credit for being the king of the idiots.

              Welcome!

Melensdad, is that credit or blame for being king of the idiots? Because I'm pretty convinced my wife thinks I'm the clown to the king!

Welcome to the Horde, You've made an excellent choice going with the Grendel. It's the best round out there for the AR-15 platform.

The corn is high this year (I'm NOT in a "drought" area) so I'm limited to about 150 yards across the rear lawn. Next year will be soybeans. We can shoot over the top of a bean field, ranged back to the river can probably be closer to 400 yards.
