    Hello from Ohio

Hello all, been lurking a bit. So thought I should join.

New to the 6.5 Grendel, hope to stretch it out. Thanks for having me.

The plan was an ar15 in 6.5 grendel for hunting. Then the more I read, the more I think, time to go long. So I'm starting with a 18" PSA SS upper on my Anderson lower, LaRue trigger and Aero gas tube/buffer. Still need to purchase scope and mounts, looking at Vortex Diamondback tactical with 20 moa mounts. Plus, gathering everything to reload. I figure if I out shoot the barrel, I can always buy a better one and this barrel can be used for hunting.

Be very wary of a spare part or two laying around. They seem to find more like themselves and begin a morphing process until a complete new Grendel is born. And, once this morphing starts, it seems to perpetuate for a very long time. THere is only one known way to stop it. Requires tickling its belly continuously and feeding it lots of shiny, noisy things.

Already happen, now have an extra 5.56 just for fun. Will put all the cheap next best things on it. Hits steel at 300y NP. Or should I call it my Amazon gun? ????
