Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself and say thanks in advance for all the great advice. I mainly hunt deer and hog but i want to take an elk. I love large calibers and I currently own a mcmillen .50 bmg and a .338 win mag

Welcome! The Grendel is about the best you can get on an AR-15 platform. It'll be a lot easier on the shoulder and wallet than the other two.

Welcome, this is a bit a departure for you but I think you'll enjoy the Grendel. My go to gun used to be a 35 Whelen bolt.
