Greetings!
With luck I'll be going to the range with my newly built Grendel this weekend. I wanted a handy sized AR 15 with more deer and coyote killing ability than a 5.56. Looking back at my notes for the last couple of decades, the majority of my shots are under 200 yards on medium sized whitetails and mulies. Coyote range is more variable, but I want them dead in their tracks.
I went with an 18" Satern barrel and am happy with the balance and feel. When I start putting holes in paper I'll know if this will be the next love of my life.
Thank you for all the information I've gleaned from this forum as a lurker. As I gain experience with this round perhaps I'll be able to contribute.
