Getting my first Grendel. Ordered an Odin Billet 20" upper cyber Monday. Putting it on a Bushmaster(Windham built) that I bought many years ago when I thought Gore might make it into the White House. Doubt it has more than 100 rds through it. Mainly shoot pistol and a 6920. Still have to decide on a scope and whether or not I want to handload. Pretty excited.

Welcome!! I also debated on handloading. I decided to just because of the challenge and exploration. I also grabbed a few factory loads (Hornady 123 SST and ELD as benchmark comparisons)Comment

The 6.5 Grendel is the ultimate cartridge for the AR-15.
Wolf ammo is available for cheap blasting and brass cased ammo is available for 1000 yd shooting.
There is no cartridge that has as many advantages. 6.5 bullets are inherently accurate.
Post some photos of targets when you shoot them. It will be easy to post some great results with 6 .5.
