You could say im totally new to guns. Bought a AR15 a couple months ago and have about 200rds through it now and have even shot my first deer with it this season. Yes first deer ever. Never hunted either and at 56 i must say the whole experience was quit fun and tasty!
So i figure if im going to get into guns i want to build one and learn all about my gun and after researching i decided on a 6.5 Grendel.
Not having unlimited funds it will take me about 2 more months to get it done but i do have some parts already.
Upper Receiver and a McGowan 20in SS Barrel. Shopping around today for a BCG.
Anyway so thats how i landed here as this looks like the Grendel owners place to be
