    Noob from AZ

    Hi all,
    New guy from AZ here. Took me awhile to drink the AR-15 Kool-aid but I built a couple. Well, I built some lowers and bought upper assemblies anyways. Now I,m awaiting parts to finish my A2 fixed stock lower for my 24" 6.5 Grendel upper. I reload and already have 100 pcs of Hornady brass and a selection of powders to try out. Been looking to hunt with this and have been impressed with all the load data on this site! Seems like a pretty friendly place so far so I'm sure I'll enjoy participating here.

      I too avoided the black guns. 60+ years of bolt guns. I love my Grendel. Fun to shoot. Light recoil. Break out the credit cards.

        Welcome! I'm finishing the build of my first AR and kind of did the opposite of your build whereas I bought a complete lower and am piecing together my upper. No matter how you get there, as long as you get there is all that's important!
