Newbie here from the Twin Cities, MN

    Hello there,
I've recently took the 6.5 G challenge by ordering a bolt/16" lw bbl combo from AA to add diversity in my caliber selection. I have experience building uppers in 6.8, 458, and 556, so this will come naturally Anyhow, I'm mostly interested in learning more about precision target shooting. As for my background, I've recently earned a Bachelor's in Biochemistry, and I spend my free time these days at the gym, range, or ice fishing. Thanks for having this site!

Thanks for the welcome Sneaky One! Been in MN since day 1 lol -- half frozen indeed. That would be really fun to have others along for ice fishing. I have a quick fish three portable ice house, a couple manual augers, a vexilar, and a big buddy heater to make it easy. Pm me if your down!

Thanks for the welcome too Vascar2! I already have a bunch of parts to start when I get my barrel -- I'm thinking umbrella corp rcvrs, MI rail, and a lighweight carrier/adj. gas block. Just need a great scope to seal the deal
