I was a member on here a few years ago and got tired of doing the forum thing. I remember this forum helping me out many times with my rifle and look forward to getting back to it. Anyway, I just ordered a Satern 18" barrel with a mid length gas system to replace my 16" barrel. What can I look forward to with the new barrel?

Welcome back. What was your old handle?
Make sure to ask for a .076" gas port on that Satern.
I have an 18" fluted Satern with a .094" gas port that needs adjustable gas and rifle weight buffer to run.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

Yeah, I ordered one in stock so I didn't get any custom touches on it. I got an email from Maranda at Satern today and she said that "Mr Satern does not recommend an adjustable gas block with this barrel". So we will see. Worse case is that I still have a 16" AA barrel on the rifle.
