New to the Forum

My name is Dave, I'm from PA. Never really had an interest in firearms up until about 3 years ago when there was a drive by shooting on my apartment building. One person got hit and being an EMT I ended administering first aid until EMS/FIRE/Police came out. After that I picked up my first pistol. After going shooting I caught the bug and built my first budget AR. Now I'm finishing up the build on my 6.5 Grendel, just waiting for the hand guard and muzzle break I ordered. I'll post pictured as soon as I get it put together, likely tomorrow.

Welcome to the boards!! Great to hear stories like yours! I bought my first pistol as a response to 9/11, so I understand the sentiment. That was a long time ago, and a lot of pistols and rifles ago, (far to many if you ask my beautiful wife!).

Well my damn handguard didn't come in today much to my disappointment. it'l still be a few days it seems until I get it.
