    New to site.

Just wanted to say hello, I've been reading the forum for a while now, and decided to join. In 2014 I didn't own a single AR, now I have several; all built by me. I'm waiting on a barrel to put together a Grendel, hence all the reading. (Trying to figure out all the possible issues before I run into them...)
I feel like I've already learned a lot from this site, and I'm hoping I'll be prepared when all the parts are finally together.

Targets, mainly. Wether or not I hunt with it will be determined later.
I just realized how enjoyable ARs are last year; after my brother "discovered" 80% lowers at a gun show. Since then a whole new world has opened up to me. Before that I was only interested in bolt guns.
The 6.5 Grendel drew my attention because of the ballistics (of course) and I've always liked the somewhat obscure rounds. One of my other "new" ARs is in 6.5 Creedmoor, and the rifle I hunt with here at home is a 30TC.
Won't do me much good in "the apocalypse," but I have a 5.56 for that...

30 TC was ahead of its time, but Hornady got to say, "I told you so." with the 6.5 Creedmoor, which is a 30 TC necked down.

Check out the 6.5 Grendel Reloading Handbooks if you don't have them already.

No questions yet. Waiting on a barrel to complete my build. I actually have an AA 16" "lite" barrel; the one they are currently selling on their site. I decided, however, to go with a 20" barrel, so this one might be offered up for sale soon.
