Long time forum member and moderator LRRPF52 suffered a small stroke yesterday morning. Although he recovered rapidly, further testing revealed a small cardiac wall defect. This was completely unexpected, as he is in great physical condition and has been cleared repeatedly for different work situations, flight physicals, etc. This type of defect is typically identified easily in a routine cardiac evaluation, but his is apparently completely silent and required special imaging to be revealed. He is feeling well, but will undergo a cardiac procedure to close the defect tomorrow.
He has contributed greatly to the forum over the years, and I know that many members here are indebted to him for assistance on many different projects. He has been a good friend to the forum, the members and any who reach out in need.
For those of you who pray, please include him and his family in your prayers. For the others in our forum, please keep him in your thoughts
