DIY Magpul CTS Cheek Rest and Bag Rider

Just wanted to share two things I did to dress up my Magpul ACS.

I needed a little more height on the cheek rest, so I ordered some neoprene pads with a sticky backing. I laid an 1/8" thick piece over an 1/4" piece.

The ACS doesn't ride bags very well, so I made one out of a 2x4.
I cut out the rough shape, did some sanding and dremel work, and then used JB Weld for the final fitting (much like bedding a bolt action).

Cool! That stock looks like a ACS or STR... I like the idea
12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
    Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

I just wanted to clarify that I am an idiot. The thread subject is wrong. I don't have a Magpul Cadillac ( CTS ).
Thank you for the forum members for correcting me.

Mate, you're not an idiot and it's all good ideas for this forum. I looked at your plate and thought OK I've never thought of this but will it work? All good.

I like the Magpul stocks too but found that the fancy PRS did not ride rear bags as I like. Plus I figured it was too heavy for my needs and I don't use its variable cheek riser or the back extender. It has a cover plate that sits on the bag but was slipping off in the recoil.

I like the simpler MOE Rifle Stock. It rides the bags on the angle and is lighter than the PRS. More a hunting than a range stock which suits me.
