Nikon fx1000

What's everybody's take on it how does it compare the other Scopes in the price range I'm contemplating this or the Viper PST Gen 2

A neighbor recently got one. He says he likes it a lot. I looked through the glass and it looks pretty good to me.

I’ve got several Nikon black x1000 4-16x50.
They are on sale @ Sportsmans guide.I just bought 2.For $250 ea.Free ship
Fx1000 6-24x50 are $599.
I an a Vortex fan.I own several viper scopes 6.5-20x50.Pst 6-24x50.Nikon Black x1000 has clear glass and tracks as well.Maybe not the features of the PST.
But,Nikon Blacks are good scopes.I own the non illuminated 2nd focal plane scopes.But,the fx1000 series are great too.I’ve used one.I just prefer 2nd focal plane.
Given a choice,I like the Viper PSt.But,forthe Sportsman’s guide price,I may get 2 more Nikon black before the sale is up!

I just bought the fx1000 non illuminated version paid for 449 and got a badlands backpack free at eurooptics.com. i to love vortex all my scopes are vortex have a pst gen 2 was thinking about it

You did well for that price!
sportsmans guide has that scope for $450 minus club discount and free shipping.($400 delivered)But,you have to buy an annual club membership for $40.No free backpack.
