This is what it took to get the 560lb workbench in the air.
I always envisioned a "U"-shaped room, with workbench on one side with the vice, tools, etc., and the reloading side on the opposite side, so the surface where hammers, punches, and power tools is located seperate from the surface where digital scales are for loading.Last edited by LRRPF52; 12-26-2014, 01:43 AM.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

Don't really have a "gun room"....guns are kept in a secure safe in a climate controlled environment, but reloading (just recently got in to reloading) takes place in a
relegated corner of the garage [please don't laugh out loud.....works for me, but not the greatest setup].

Lots of light is important as well. These 4' shop lights are small enough to mount right above the bench and be out of the way, while providing ample light for reloading and gun work.

It's a RCBS Big Max built sometime during Reagan's second term. Big, heavy, simple.
It's a little over sized for 90% of what I reload but all that leverage makes for near effortless resizing of magnum cases (as long as you wax 'em). The long lever makes sitting offset of the press mandatory so the swing will clear your knee. Most of the time I only do a max of 50 rds at a time through it so ergonomics are not a huge factor."Bugout bag?..What's that?
