    Red Mountain Grendel

Tweaked a few variables on my set up since the turn of the new year. Swapped optics to a Vortex Viper HS LR 4-16x44. Gives more elevation adjustment than the old Bushnell. Also picked up an Atlas bi-pod from the good folks at B&T Industries. Stopped by their booth at SHOT to lay hands on the product to see what all the hype was about (the product lives up to all the internet praise). I was happy to discover B&T had samples for sale...I was able to convert a spare 20 dollar bill into an Atlas via blackjack.

    BHW 264LBC 18" 1x9 twist rifle gas
Mil-spec A3 upper (forward assist is plugged)
Mil-spec bolt carrier with a Tactical Ammunition 264 bolt
    Black Rain billet charging handle
Bushy lower from my first AR
    CMC drop in trigger
    DPMS target grip
    A2 stock
Lancer Systems carbon fiber 15" handguard
    JP compensator
    Warne SKEL mount
    Atlas bi-pod
VTAC sling (with high zoot paracord attachment points)
