Just fired today with wolf ammo, about 75 yds. last shot was very nice, can't get it to load on my computer. I live next to Federal forest and thats where I like to shoot, but its hunting season so I'll wait until things calm down. So for now I shoot in my front yard.

Nice Grizzerman! Welcome from another CA Grendeler. Jealous that you can shoot from your front yard.

Nice rifle, it is a shame you guys have to run that crap grip out there. Did you time the muzzle brake or is it just an optical illusion?

Very nice! I really like the color. Not very common and I think it looks very good!

I don't know anything about timing a muzzle brake, whats that all about? Thanks for the color coment Allen. I mixed red and black Cerakote, then after applying that I faded the black onto it. Baked it in my bar-b-que.

I belive the idea is to have the ports on the brake pointed left and right. Facing them up and down will probably push allot of gas down, kicking up alot of dust. I don't think it has any affect on function though.

I didn't think of that, I put it that way to hopefully cut down on muzzle jump. I'll have to do more research now, thanks.

Lookin' good, very unique color scheme! Yeah, unless you just like the look of it, it's far more common to turn your muzzle brake 90 degrees from where it is now, so the ports are at the 3:00 and 9:00 positions. There's something called a crush washer, too (and maybe you already have one), that fits between the barrel and the brake and helps with aligning the brake exactly where you want it, while giving it the proper tension so that it doesn't un-loosen itself.
