    Sneak Preview

I'm particularly enamored of gas-piston ARs. Since I'm in a position to get advance new product info from Alexander Arms, I thought I'd post a photo of their latest project that I think is cool!

The monolithic upper is from Mega; AA also sells them separately. Piston mechanism is based on the Adams Arms.

Bill beat you to it, JWH, :

...... building the prototype of a new piston grendel carbine. Monolithic upper, knurled barrel profile, Satern hard steel barrel, AAC 51 tooth blackout flash hider. Need a 65 round drum mag for this if it works out Spurred from the success with the piston DMR I am getting into this to see how well it runs. 19.11 hours

Day late an' a dollar short, as usual!

P.S. New is knurling on the 16" barrel, and the AAC Black-Out FHs.

That appears to be an AAC flash hider suppressor mount.

I've seen pics of Mega's new NiB stuff, but that one looks more like some variation of FDE in color.

Hard to tell. Can you share any more details?

At least you can actually get something from AA. Feel fortunate for that one!

Ouch! To be honest I think everyone is a little backed up right now. I would rather have quality parts that take longer than getting a piece of junk sooner.
