TBAC 7 or Surefire Genesis 762

I had been looking pretty steadily at the TBAC 7 for my Grendels, 12.7 and 16... direct thread, I don't think I need the quick-switch of the MB/attachments... but then I run across the Surefire Genesis 762... at $300 less. Being a beginner on suppressors, I wonder if the TBAC is the way to go for the extra $$ or if the surefire would be comparable. Although its weight is ~twice, 9.2 to 18 oz...
    Any opinions?
    Thanks.

I have a tbac ultra 7 and love it. Never fired a surefire but i wouldn't personally want an 18oz can on my 12" rig i carry all day while hunting.

The direct thread version just has the muzzle break loctited into the can.

Looks like the Ultra 7 for me. Looking into the logistics is next.

I found a local shop that has them, along with a mil/LE/vet discount, so that's helping the decision and makes it a bit more affordable. Also read that many good PRS competition shooters using a suppressor are using the Tbac... I figure they are a pretty knowledgeable bunch... along with the horde of course!
