    Trigger for a hunting rifle

This is for my pickup/hunting gun. I am looking for a single stage trigger, I think. An ALG (ACT) trigger resides in the lower for now. Looking for something smother, with less creep.

CMC Trigger it's about 3.5lbs Single Stage
12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
    Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

    Aim small, miss small!

I know this is going to sound crazy but I have 2 rifles w/ALG QMS w/JP 3.5-4# springs. I was this king a minor upgrade to my .450 BM (swapping the QMS for ACT ) would be nice. I made one range trip and put the QMS back in, noticibly less creep!

I shoot mostly boltaction rifles and for hunting like a 3lb crisp trigger without creep. Put a 3lb Timmney trigger in the Grendel AR, works great IMO

Few here ever talk about it, but the one I REALLY like is the Alexander Arms tactical trigger
          Very crisp

Mega arms tactical trigger, JP, or put an adjustment screw and jp during kit on a stock Trigger and do a polish job on it.

If you dont know what you are doing you can make a double tap trigger real easy.

Yes, experience talking. Correct, i didnt know what i was doing. That is why i have two geissle's, one timeny and one AA.

The one ar I have that isn't wearing an AR gold , very nice but not what I would want to hunt with. My first time sitting at the bench, shots 2&3 we're so close together you could barley tell it was a double tap. Very quick reset and very light

For single stage, I really like the Timney 3# drop-ins. No take up or grittiness. Reset is short and sweet. I also understand that Geisele now makes a single stage. If it's as good as the SSA-E I have, it should be another great choice.

Second this, it's what I run (flat blade) and love it.

Jp has a forged lower with a jp trigger in it for $299 and the they have a 10% discount for current and prior military. I've not felt a better trigger in an ar.

i love my geissele national match, and I'd highly recommend it. if you pull through the first and second stages, it feels like a very soft single stage

A double star stock trigger will work great.
I like the velocity triggers if you want to spend 150 bucks

                              Folks,

Just went with a CMC today, 3.5lb curved. Cannot wait to try it out. A2
