  • Grendel had a good day

Everything you see here is a result of my 24" Grendel (except for one doe). Shooting 123gr SSTs' being pushed by 32.5gr of LeveRevolution.

looks like someone has a system that works.
after a helluva lot of processing, that, Sir, is going to be one bulging freezer.

Looks like the 123SST might work okay :-)
I'm living about half my life just south of you in Columbia now days. I'm there at least three days a week.

Well, my total so far this year is 8 total, well 9 technically. I got 3 last Saturday, then 5 today. This morning we were in the shop working when a group of 6 ran up behind the shop. I shot 2 of them there, and my uncle shot 3 of them, wounding one that I finished off. Then this evening I shot three, including the buck, out of a stand that over looks a field where deer ALWAYS come out, at least if your willing to wait till it's almost dark. As far as filling the freezer, we donate all most all the deer to a program that feeds the hungry.

Looks like a scene from the sleepy Hollow TV show- the headless ?---- Good harvesting, nasty hanging.

Congrats. You really are stacking them deep and fast. Have you recovered any of the SST's? I also was thinking about a horror movies scene with all the carcasses hanging from the ceiling.

Congrats! Isn't it Ted Nugent who says, "Whack 'em and stack 'em"?

Happen to have any chrono info on your LeveRevolution load?

I haven't recovered any bullets yet, though I really haven't really gone looking for any in the gut piles. Most of the time they pass through. As far as chronograph results, I didn't get a chance to put this particular load through the chronograph yet, but with the same load pushing 123gr Nosler custom competitions' they were around 2650.
