I don't know where to go with this. My first time on hogs with these bullets and I obtained results, but nothing turned out pretty. I wasn't happy with the conditions, video quality, my shooting, hits/misses, and resultant data, but I told him I would show my work. So here it is.

The last shot on the second hog seems to show what the bullet is capable of doing. If this is how it normally goes through an animal, I think it will be great.

But did you have to shoot the whole box of ammo at him lmao.

Hopefully some better shot opportunities will show themselfs for you to better test them.

That broadside shot that blow a 1 inch hole through the backstrap and exited is about what I would expect on a pour meat are vital shot with that bullet.

It's always weird to see bullets bounce of their heads but it does happen. Seen it happen with a 243 and it happened to me once with a 308 at about that same distance it did in the vid.

Little better result last night at my place. I knew I had a hog coming in, but it turned out that I had at least 1 group of 3 hogs. That group is now gone.

YouTube, probably due to people complaining on YouTube about my videos, has age restricted several of them. So this is just the hunt portion. I will get the necropsy and ballistic analysis done next...

When something like this works, I look like a genius, like I almost know what I am doing. When it doesn't work, I look like an idiot. That is a kick in the pants, isn't it? I have screwed up a few hunts when I have seen a single hog walk through the area and go off to the right that never came back, though it isn't uncommon to have them disappear from view off to the right or the left and then close in on the feeder a minute or two later. They are just checking the area, making sure they are safe.

I had an entire sounder come through that entered on the left side about 30 yards from the stand and then walk up the trail toward the other feeder and disappear into the woods, that didn't return. They all walked, no hurry. I don't think I spooked them or that they were threatened by me as they didn't run. I just knew they would return, too. Apparently, they were just passing through on the way to somewhere else. I never fired a shot and I felt like an idiot for getting greedy and hoping to shoot multiple hogs when they came back to feed under the feeder.

on that last hog you took, it appears to me it was a pass through as i saw dirt kick up in the background after the shot. did you recover any of those barnes bullets?

It was definitely a pass through. Did you notice the amount of deflection? Both shots passed through everything. No bullet was recovered. I will get to that in part 2.

wow, i'm impressed the first shot went through both pigs and continued on. wow. yep, i noticed the amount of deflection on the 2nd shot. wonder if the lighter 100gr. TTSX would limit penetration somewhat? or are 150lb pigges just not enough mass to keep bullets from doing pass through ?
