    Coyote with 6.5 Grendel

    Not a good hit on the first shot, but the second shot on the run made him face skid. A lot of white on this guy... never seen one so white.

      Coydog is what it looks like, I have seen a few around here too. They mate with local feral dogs and that is what you get.

                  That was neat. I wish I could borrow your rifle set up. Yesterday morning I was at my old home place which I have sold since my Father passed last Oct.. I was taking down a metal double carport to move to my house. This is in the city limits of town. There is a wooded hill across the street and two different times I heard what sounded like a dozen or so coyotes barking, yelping etc. It is against the law to discharge a firearm in the city limits but if I had a suppressor and a night sight, Huuuum!

                      The coyotes in Indiana still haven't dropped there winter coat yet but that will happen soon. That's a shame, would have made a great conversation piece!
