So I have a PWA lower I am putting a Geissele trigger into.
It specifically says in the instructions, that it might be necessary to do some minor filing around the trigger hole to ensure smooth operation.
I have also ran into a problem with the back of the trigger on the side where it is next to the safety hole, where the detent pin/spring is.
So I filed, then Dremelled it a bit (the lower).
Anyways, what would you use as a rust preventative?
I have Googled parkerization pen, found a Birchwood Casey Super Black Instant Touch-Up Pen which doesn't get the greatest reviews.
I also see a Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black Touch-Up
Then there are the ubiquitous "Just hit it with a Sharpie" comments.
And I need to take out more. While it was moving OK, with the trigger pin tool, then with the pin and spring, when I installed the hammer installed it won't budge.
Sure enough the sharpie I touched up the back corner of the trigger end has marked where I Dremelled earlier...
