If it's a bench rifle then go 20". You already have a 16" so going up 2" doesn't seem worth it compared to going to 4".

Agreed. I have a 16" I love, and I'm also thinking hard about a 20" bench gun

If you intend to play on the bench, may as well go long. My 22" loves the 1000 yard steel just a bit more than both of my 18 inch barrels.

My first Grendel has a 20" barrel- considering how much I'm enjoying shooting it, I'm considering doing one with a 16" barrel . Funny how that works.
