Im Currently torn between the 16" Odin barrel from dvor, or either the ba hanson or heavy fluted. Cosmetically I like the fluted best, but the hanson comes with a gas block and is cheaper.

Of course the Odin has an adjustable gas block and is much cheaper......

These barrels are superb and affordable. Mine shoots sub MOA with good ammo.

lw1179, did you have cycling issues? there is a BA forum over on ar15.com, and they were talking about cycling issues due to small gas port holes on some of the BA barrels.

The odin is cheap, but if I can realistically look at .5moa groups with BA using good ammo, well, I already have a 2 moa gun that drives me nuts.......

Shot my Odin yesterday, definitely an improvement over my other barrels (talking 223 wylde now, but just the same...)
Get the Odin, avoid the risks.

From Joebob. I only have about 75 rounds through it so far...

Good groups; I haven't used the 77, but find the 69's to shoot really well.

Yeah, from just this early-on testing, it kind of puts the Odin at the top of my list when I start looking for another barrel... I still like my Faxon bbls too but this, well, it does catch my attention. The spreads are due more to the shooter than the gun IMO.

My sampling of one Odin 16" say's at least they are honest, mine is closer to 1" with eld black and likely better, but their guarantee didn't thrill me when I first saw it either. It is serving its purpose, works well, barrel extension seems to have been dehorned and polished which I didn't expect.
