Let me see if I can get these pics to post. Just mounted a new Vortex Viper HS and Jefferson Outdoors hinged bottom metal to my mini action after finishing some modifications to the factory stock.
It's a tad over 8.5 lbs. with the scope and sling. The forend had some flex so I filled it in with two part epoxy resin and filled the stock with expanding foam to get rid of the hollow "thunk", so that's added to the weight.
looks awesome, weight isn't a bad thing, our ruger ranch chassis builds are 8.25 and it's really nice watching everything in the scope, we love those rifles a lot and shoot them very well, on game to 420 yards so far, you'll be in the low 6 ft/lb recoil energy range with that set up
