    Southern Cross Small Arms Chassis

I got my Howa Mini Action recently and today put it into my new SCSA chassis.
Haven't shot it in the chassis yet but had it in my B&C stock from my 204 up until now.
First impressions are good, it is in 3 main pieces that bolt together and has a spacer system for length of pull adjustment. There is no way you are going to accidentally release the magazine as it is enclosed and also has a firm spring. I have attached an MDT 7" Arca rail on the fore end as there are 5 mlok slots on the underside as well.

I don't have scales here but going off weights I found online it would be roughly 11 pounds as it is right now without a bipod. The chassis is listed as being 4.1lbs so pretty much the same as an Oryx. The scope on it currently will be going back onto my 204 and a Diamondback Tactical going on in its place which is slightly lighter.

Looks nice. Looked at their site and only see the Howa short action listed , not the mini. Do you have a part number and do you know if one of those could be shipped to the US?

Legacy Sports is the US distributor and there is a shipment on the way now. I don't know what the model number will be but just ask for the TSP-X Howa Mini

I managed to get a few rounds through the Howa for the first time in the chassis and with the Diamondback Tactical 4-16.
Got sighted in and then shot a group before checking my drop at just over 600 yards. Pretty happy with the way it shot. Ammo was 90gr TNT's, 30.5 gr 8208XBR in new Starline brass, CCI 450's and COAL 2.195" (1.690" to ogive)

Yeah I was pretty happy with it. Not going to worry about changing it for now. I have the rest of my brass loaded and have some 123 ELD' and SST's to play around with once they are all shot. That could take a while in the current situation though.

Thanks, sighted in at 100m. Drop was 5.3 mils at 560 metres
