For those of you that may be interested, figured I would post the modification I did to my Howa 6.5 Grendel. Magazine will only hold 3 now, but fits nice and flush with the bottom of the magazine well. First I cut the magazine just above the engraving below the first rim and sanded it flush with the rim. Used 100 grit first

Unless something has changed, there is no 10 round magazine for the Howa 6.5 Grendel. What came with the rifle and what you got from Brownells is 5 rounds, and 5 rounds only. Can't put any more in a single stack, not a blocked magazine.

I've heard of 10 round mags for the .223 and blocked 5 round mags for the .223, but not the Grendel or the 7.62x39.

My mistake,big time.I made an error in assuming it was a ten rounder.Thanks for all the info regarding these mags.
