    My 6.5 Grendel

Sun Devil billet upper and lower receivers
    Samson handguard
    Magpul furniture
    Brownells 18" barrel
    Vortex HS-T 4-16x44
Chip McCormick straight shoe trigger 3.5lbs
    JP Enterprises scope mount

*I have not sighted it in yet, just function checked it with 5 rounds. It ejects about 4 feet at 2 o'clock and does not stay open on an empty mag, so I am goin to put the tungsten weight and heavy spring on my JP Silent Spring and see if that will put it at 3 o'clock.

Your phone was manufactured in the Southern Hemisphere :-)

12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
        Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

Please post a range report Tacblade, I'm curious how the newer Brownell's barrel shoots.

Nice looking rifle there. I'm actually wondering if the lighter JP SCS spring is the correct fix for this. There is quite a bit of weight and spring strength on the SCS as-is, and I really think it might be set-up for a lightweight/lo-mass carrier.

I will try my low mass JP carrier out of my .223 and see if it makes a difference.

The upper and lowers look slick.

I assembled my Grendel on a Sun Devil Billet receiver set. My only complaint was I paid extra to get a Cerocoated set and when it arrived the color rubbed off on everything. I don't know if they forgot to bake it or had a baking malfunction but I had to get it done correctly here. I thought about sending it back to them after emailing them about it but I am not much for second chances if they can't do it right the first time when they know it is going out the door to a customer. That is why I won't ever own another Kimber pistol even if it was free! But I digress, no other issues with the receiver set and it made a very accurate rifle. Mine is FDE also.

The receiver set and trigger are Burnt Bronze, the rest is Flat Dark Earth. But when it rides in the Polaris Ranger for awhile, it will all be Wyoming Dirt color!!!

I am going off this diagram for my issues.

This is a great looking build. I have been looking at the Sun Devil as well as the Mega upper and lower. How did you decide on the Sun Devil set? How did it look going together?
