Range report from our first customer on our 24" Lilja/Seekins Grendel.

Some of you may know about my company Rocky Mountain Reloading. Well, we just so happen to be in the same city as Seekins Precision. I have been wanting to get into the 6.5 Grendel market for some time so when Seekins offered to teach me how they build their stuff I jumped on it. Let me just say that Seekins deserves their awesome reputation. We have already shipped out several uppers but most recently we got in the 24" Lilja barrels that I ordered from the group buy. We built an entire rifle for a customer who requested that we add the Geissele Match trigger. Here is the range report he sent us and a few pictures. If you are interested, we have the uppers in stock and they will ship within 24 business hours. http://www.shop.rmrbullets.com/Compl...m1plqscsfapp01

Hi Jake, The weather here got into the mid 40s today so I got out to the
range for barrel break in. I fired 15 rounds with handloads , then fired a
final 3 shot group at 100 yds. I am extremely pleased with the results
which I will send along to you. The rifle is not loud and very little recoil
and I can't wait to get to my other club with the longer range to give it a
good test. I only tried 2 loads today and the 3 shot group was with the
faster load I tried. It's going to be fun to work up loads for this gun, as
I think it has great potential. I measured the group at 5/16 center to
center and I think it can do better than that. I put the load on the photo
in case it is of use to you for your workup. Thanks for the great rifle!

    Regards,
    Bob

That is hoss right there. I really love these Seekins receivers and the ATC muzzle break. I'll be putting it on my 18.5" Lilja I think.

He needs to try CFE or N530 and get more speed at the same pressures.
