I recently purchased this gun off gb to get in the grendel game. The prior owner states it was an adams arms barrel, but i can find no info that adams ever produced a grendel barrel. Its a 20 inch barrel and the only mark i see us an 8 just forward of the barrel nut. The end of the barrel has a few grooves but i havent gotten to aggresive to see if its a thread cap or not. Any ideas?
Any ideas on this barrel?

If adams arms did, this is the first I've seen of one. Unless one of the guys that have been around longer then me can vouch for that, I'd have a gunsmith check her out, before you put any rounds down range."Those who sacrifice liberty for security, deserve neither." Benjamin Franklin

BRO has used BHW barrels previously, and BHW makes barrels in that profile. I think inscriptions on BRO barrels made by BHW are sometimes just forward of the barrel extension where they would be covered by the barrel nut. The BHW website appears to be down at this time, so no help there at the moment.
Check to see what type of rifling is inside the bore. I think that BHW usually uses 3-groove polygonal rifling.
