As a noob, I just ran across 2x Grendel bolts that were labled Type 1 and Type 2 bolt faces, where the faces were cut to different depths.
What is this about? Is this due to varying cartridge dimensions between Alexander, LBC, CSS, etc?
I haven't seen this option before as I've been shopping for bolts and barrels here recently. Was there a cutoff date where one of the "Types" is now standard across the board?
