Installed a flash hider on my new build and had to re-sight it. Using Hornady A-Max still shooting 1 MOA at 100. Went out to 275 yards and the gun still shoots 3 into 3" at that range. Adjusted impact point to match my 1x4 with Pig Plex for 12" low at 300. Used Hornady's Ballistic program from their web site. Sight it in at 50 yards; bottom of circle @ 300; 1st stadia wire at 400; and 2nd at 500. Matches the drop table with the scope 2.7" above the bore line and 2400 FPS. The Pig Plex has a Hvy Crosshair and aim points are hard to see at 275, so my group size was a pleasant surprise. The scope is said to match a 30/06 with 180 gr bullet @ 2700. Matches the Hornady table with scope 1.5" above bore line. Interesting that the higher mounted scope would match up so closely. The bottom of the circle is 4MOA, 1st wire 8MOA, and 2nd is 12MOA. Oh, this is with a 16" Stoner BBL you guys steered me to at Midway. Still have the 18" on order from AA.
