That is a very kind offer. I just tore it down and posted a update what I found. I know after the next visit to the range if the barrel worth playing with. Crown was washed out. Poorly polished. I no longer have access to a lathe. Gave it to a buddy to recrown. His range rod went in deeper than he is a custom to. We did not slug the bore, the scope did not show any major faults. The feed ramps were denting the shoulders and causing severe bullet runout problems verified on my Sinclair Bullets runout gage . A bullet with .004 going in ejected with over .025. And dents and gouges that could interfere with the round sitting correctly in the chamber. A little reprofile and polishing solved that. Thanks for the kind offer, I may very well take you up on it.

Classic Firearms reportedly sold rebranded BCA (Bear Creek Arsenal) barrels. There are numerous threads on various firearms forums regarding BCA 6.5 Grendel and other caliber barrels. To be polite BCA lacks consistent QC and has sold a lot of poor quality barrels.

I thought you said the range rod fit looser than normal?
See if Shaw is still making Grendel barrels. Or Lothar Walther. Shaws are hunting grade but at least they are dependable and are low in cost. Lothar Walthers are much better than Shaws but no Krieger by any means and the LW barrels used to be a very good value.

I don't think you understand, these boys killed my dog!
Taking the gun off safe increases the velocity by 100%

May want to take a look at this barrel. It's on sale right now, won't break the bank.
The 16" was on sale when I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Used it to rebuild a pistol I blew up I'm getting very good results from it.
This is their 18" version.
Just something for you to think about.
