    Grendel Mags

Sorry if this has been talked about to death but in the current climate, what are the best mags to get? I finally got to take my new to me Adams grendel to the range last weekend. I have a 17 round elander made in israel that worked perfectly. I also have a stoner 10 rounder which I haven't tried out yet. Getting a better scope this weekend and hopefully will get her out to the range sunday or one day next week. Stretch out her legs a bit.

Any deals out there? I know... lol but in case someone sees something.

AimSurplus has the 20 round Duramags for $18.95. I got one and they are very nice.
I will be buying more. And selling my other Grendel mags after I get enough of them.

I just got in 10 of the CPD 20rd mags. Already have 12 of the E-Lander 24rd and 4 of the Amend2 10rd.

CPD is easiest to load, dry cycles with no issues and BHO right out of the box, looks like they will handle a longer OAL than either of my other two brands, they're nicely compact, good finish, and while steel, fairly light.

They'll get range tested this weekend, but I'm expecting no issues.

Got mine from Aim Surplus as well, though it took 15 days for a Priority Mail package to arrive...not Aim's fault though.

Thanks. I ordered up a couple of the cpd from joe bobs for 22 each w/ free shipping over 90.

The one thing I will say is the elander 17 rounder seemed a little tight with the eld's but didn't notice it w/ the american gunners. Ran reliably w/ both but had more of an issue getting the rounds seated etc.

I had to tweak the feed lips on both of my elanders to get reliable feeding. The lips were too tight and rounds were nose diving into the feed ramp and sticking. After the tweak, they have fed fine.

I prefer the Duramag 20 rounder now. Been running the E-landers for a few years now.
I plan on loading up on the Duramags. They are perfect right out of the wrapper.
Had to tweak the E-landers, every one I bought. But the E-landers have all worked for me.

Also worth pointing out that AIM has free shipping on parts (that includes mags) over $49. 3 mags at $18.99 will put you over that bar.

Good point. That is why I bought my 20 Rd Duramags from AIM Surplus.
