    Alexander arms mk10 handguard?

Anyone use one of these Alexander arms g10 handguards? I'm thinking about getting one for my build. I like the idea of g10 as opposed to aluminum,
But I can't find much info on the web about these.
Anybody want to weigh in on these?
    Thanks.

At 175.00 for the handguard, 11.00-175.00 for pic rails, and aluminum bbl nut, I can't see myself buying one.
It ought to be pretty light though.

I like them. I Cerakoted several different AA Grendels with them.

Do you find the attachment to the barrel nut to be pretty solid?
I'm not quite sure how it attaches, he's not specific in the description.

Yes. The ring pull the handguard onto the nut very tightly, and there are index pins that align it.

          Very solid lock-up.

Good to hear, thanks for the info.
Man that's a good looking rifle you put together there. That's just about what I'm going for, I have a different stock and I'm putting a trijicon 3-9 on mine, but very similar.

Built a 6.5G AR15 for my daughter with a G10 handguard. Works just fine and lighter than many of the cheese-grater hand guards. Bought two bitty bits of picatinny rail: one for a sling attachment and one to mount a hunting spotlight with.

Only thing I would replace it with is one of those super-lightweight spun carbon fiber handgaurds that look like spider webs. To reduce weight up front even more.

Yeah, those look really light! I went with a carbon fiber handguard that's very similar to the mk10. Made by Precision something or other, but almost every ar parts company is calling themselves precision these days!

Thanks for all the feedback guys!
