Looking at a Moriarti Armaments complete upper and wonder if anybody here has experience with them. It says chambered in 6.5 Grendel Type Two. Is this SAAMI spec, and will factory Hornady chamber reliably?

I have to ask. Why are you looking at them?
I never heard of them. That doesn’t mean squat, but there are plenty of builders out there. Why this one?Knowing everthing isnt as important as knowing where to find it.

They've been around since 2016, and I am on a VERY tight budget. I can get an 18" for $260 and a bcg for $100. I heard some bad things about Radical but bought a 458 complete upper and never had any problems, and I know quite a few who own them and no problems, but don't have the $600 for their own Grendel uppers. And again, what is a type 2 chamber?

Type 1 and Type 2 only refer to how the chamber is cut for bolt face depth. SAMMI has no spec for bolts. Type 1, officially referred to around here as Mk125, and Type 2 is Mk136. The .136 bolt face is the final and correct bolt face for the Grendel as designed.Sticks
Catchy sig line here.
