Initial report on new build.
Finished a new build, a 12.5" Ballistic Advantage barrel (Hanson profile which I've seen but not really known about it) AR-pistol w/ brace. Anyway, using a 10.5" MI handguard Mlok, a PF lower and Aero upper, KAK blade, Nikon 3-9 scope and VG6 gamma 6.5 MB... CMC 2.5# trigger.
Well. Start the breakin, shoot 1, clean 1, repeat. First two shots, AG123, on paper at 25 yds, ~1.25" low and 3/4" right.
"Zeroed" for 25 yds at -1", 2 more shots touching.
4 shots and zeroed at 25 yds - a personal record! Couple of Fed 90gr TNT's, still tight but hey, only at 25 yds...
Did a 16 shot breakin so far, ending up at 50 yds, and Dang!! this thing will shoot.
The pic is 50 yds (no more scope tweaks to get here either), with ARComp 123, 28.2 (I pulled one due to trigger), 123 Hdy Black and 123 sst, 30.8 CFE.

The only weird thing is that the AG123 casings didn't fully eject, just landing on top of the mag follower (I do single shots for breakin just in case of this!). Full lock-back.
I shot some 123 Hdy black and it ejected great, 3:00 kinda soft... and some 123 sst handloads, 30.8 gr CFE223, ejecting similarly. And 28.2 AR Comps, 123 sst's. same 3:00's.
For now I'm just going to continue cycling rounds to get up to 50 (current count 16), the AG123 case behavior may be due to the bcg still being new and sort of tight. It's an Odin works nitrided 6.5 G bcg.
Inside of the barrel is baby-face smooth during cleaning rod use. Smmoooooth.....
No chrony usage yet but I'm estimating the 123's going ~2225-2250, except for the AG123's, those I don't know, maybe a little slower...
