In stock 18" Grendel Uppers for under $600?

Wife said she wanted to get me something "Cool" for Valentine's... not like last year ha-ha.

I bet not pass this up and been finding lots of out of stock stuff over the net for 6.5 Grendel.
Really looking for a nice 18" SS complete 6.5 Grendel Upper.

So far, I have seen the Grendel Hunter 18" SS fluted Upper (no BCG) for $449 and the DSA Match Series 18" Upper for $599 (with BCG).

Any others out there that are considered good quality and affordable?

Take a look at Aero Precision, read they had sale for SHOT Show.

Aero Precision manufacturers mil-spec parts, including AR15 & AR10 uppers, lowers, rifles, handguards, barrels, scope mounts & more.

JSE Surplus sell Odin Works, JP, Wilson Arms and house Brand 6.5 Grendel.

I’d also suggest you check Alexander Arms, Faxon and Precision Firearms.

If they're in stock, I think the cost of a LaRue 6.5G 18" ultimate upper kit is ~$800, plus a $100 for them to assemble. Ultimate no-brainer... they used to have the Grendel upper listed separately on their site, but I just went there and now it's just an option on their generic ultimate upper kit. I couldn't get the drop-down menus to select a Grendel barrel.

        Thanks.
Yes, the Aero with the Atlas- S 18" was on my list but, "Out of Stock" too.

I'm trying to answer this same question right now. I have a colt competition 16" sporting AR that I've had for a few years now and want to get a second upper to swap out for when I'm doing longer shots or bigger game. So far the options I have come across are the Grendel Hunter, Aero Precision, and DS Arms. I've also debated getting the LaRue UU kit with the 6.5 Grendel 18" barrel option and using this as an opportunity to upgrade a few components on my Colt (better trigger for example) and then selling whatever the extra parts end up being. Are there any other uppers in this $$ range I'm missing?

BCA makes good stuff. Many OEMs like Anderson use their barrels. I've never had an issue with their products and have used or sold (as an FFL) many of them over the past year. Two of my three personal Grendel barrels are from BCA. That being said, they are not the top tier products. The crowns aren't polished and you can see the lathe marks on them, but you can't be picky about that at this price. Mine shoot really well anyways. They guarantee 1 MOA and you should be able to get that. BCA customer service is slow, but you would be purchasing it from a dealer anyways and not directly from BCA.

+1 on the Bear Creek Arsenal upper. I've got the 20in and shot 3 deer with it this season. It's been flawless so far and got it complete from Primary Arms during the Thanksgiving holidays for $339. I love it and it's my primary hunting rifle from now on. Just my 2 cents.

Veterans get 10% discount from BCA. Late last year I got their 20" side-charge upper for $301 but they're often out of stock.

Yes, all 18" uppers (as well as others) are out of stock from BCA direct.

I have 16in stainless BCA Upper. It is g2g. I will shoot MOA if I do my part. Their nitride stuff is pretty slick. Their uppers come with a nitride BCG and I would not hesitate getting an upper with nitride bbl if the stainless is oos.
