10 Round Magazine Recommendation Needed

I live in Colorado and I am limited to 15 rounds.

What mags do your recommend for best quality.

10 or 15 round mags if available

ASC mags

I've had good luck with the ar stoner mags from midway. Side by side they are identical to the ASC mags.

i have a cpl mags from AA and C-Products. I have had horrible luck with the 10rnd C-Products as all they did was cut the follower to allow more rnds to fit. Caused the follower to tilt backward and damage the next round to be loaded by the bolt. Once i shimned it with a .024" plastic shim between the follower and the housing, it worked good, but restricted me to 2.245 max o.a.l

my suggestion for what its worth, steer clear of 10rnd C-Products, AA makes a good Mag.

For me,



ASC and C- products garbage. Go with AA, and yes I know the AA mags are made by ASC. But quality control is much better on the AA mags. A2

I've got 5 of the ASC mags and have had zero problems. Feed rounds & lock the bolt back.

Also live in Colorado and have 10 round ASC and AA magazines, both work well and seem to be identical. Both were purchased earlier this summer so I'm assuming they're the latest versions if there is one.

I bought my last two 10 rd ASC mags from Mark at Precision Firearms. They are by far the best 10 rd ASC mags I own. They are square and the seam is perfectly spot welded. Very nice.
