    Really like CFE 223! New 300 yard billfold group from my latest AR

    My new personal best 5 shot group at 300 yards.

    Rifle is consistently under .5 MOA with CFE 223.

    These were all magazine fed, and shot from cheap Caldwell sand bags.

      It delivered these two groups ladder testing CFE at 100 last weekend, so I ran it at 300 yesterday at 30.5 - right in the middle between 30.4 and 30.6.

      Unreal accuracy from an AR and a very mediocre shooter.

          This is a heavy Les Bear 20" SS barrel, with the .264 LBC chamber.

            That is some excellent shooting. I really wish I was having success with this powder in my 18" bhw. I am still playing with it though.

                I Appreciate the comments.

                What's odd is, I can't explain the accuracy of this rifle.

                I have many high end custom built ARs, and this one is special. I've had the barrel off, replaced parts, etc...

                I am thinking the Les Baer barrel is really good. The rest of it is std stuff common to my other Grendel ARs.

                My handloads have improved, maybe that's a big part of it.
