    WFT II adjustment tip

I just got a WFT II and was having issues getting the adjustment down pat. What i learned to do (and hopefully this helps someone else if its not common knowledge and im last to the game) is

    1) Measure Case from base to mouth and write down.

    2) Insert case into trimmer and put the cutting blade onto the case mouth and tighten the allen screws down.

    3) Remove case and measure from end to end with calipers (flat end of splindle to bottom of caliber insert) and write down.

    4) Then comes math. Case length as measured in step 1 - desired length = amount to trim.

    5) lock your calipers to length of WFT OAL (step 3) + Amount to trim (Step 4)

    6) unscrew the allens on the WFT and insert into calipers which are locked down, and expand to fit the calipers. tighten down the allens and you should be spot on.

let me know if you have any questions. hope it helps someone.

Wut is "math"? I put a trimmed case in mine, seated it, and tightened the set screws. Helps to have a couple of sacrificial cases, though, in case you get over excited. Test trim, measure, repeat.

I keep one trimmed case for reference.

Seriously, don't make it too difficult on yourself.
