Shot some lapua 108gr scenars today in lapua cases cci #41 primers with 28.5 gr of 8208xbr. My rifle loved this load shooting just over 1/2 moa at 100 out to 300 meters. Wind was coming straight at me the temp was 76 deg. I was at about 700 ' elevation

I have 2 boxes of these. I just have not got around to them yet. Do you intended to use any other powder. Eg AA2520 or CFE?? I tried 8208 with 123 gr bullets and could not get it to work.

8208 is borderline with 123 and heavier bullets. it is good, good, good.....then very bad and stuff breaks.

I'm not surprised at 108's and 8208, my best load from my 28" rifles is 28.5 under Sierra 107's, .25 MOA groups at 100.

CFE likes heavier bullets, cant get enough powder in the Grendel case to build good pressures for it from my experience.

No I like the lighter bullets I use mine for deer and coyote I dont do a lot of paper punching. I bought the lapua bullets as they are cheeper than the Barnes ttsx bullets. Barnes are $35-40 for 50 and the lapuas are $35 for 100. Lapua bullets are what I will use for practiceand they have a great reputation for accuracy
