Nosler Acquires Silver State Armory

Perhaps this isn't really considered news in the 6.5 Grendel community, but maybe worth mentioning. It's no secret that Nosler has shared intentions to release 6.5 Grendel brass later this year. And SSA has made quite a name for itself manufacturing brass and loaded ammo for another alternative AR cartridge, the 6.8 SPC. Also consider that some time ago, Nosler introduced a hunting-specific bullet for the 6.8 SPC in the 100gr Accubond, which has proven effective in both field and sales performance. Thus, maybe the marriage of Nosler and SSA will eventually mean good things for the Grendel. Time will tell...

This would be a nice development. Colt maybe Nosler, sounds like the industry is warming to the Grendel.

I know Grendel stuff is produced on a smaller scale, but its always tough to find, so any company with the capital would be nuts not to jump in.

The thing to do is whenever a smaller company produces a small number of a Grendel product is for all of us to buy at least 1. That way the new company has incentive to make Grendel products and the larger companies feel a little pressure to improve there own products and lower their prices.
